If your inquiry is about adopting a particular dog from our organization or a meet-and-greet with a particular dog, the BEST thing to do is review our adoption procedure and submit an application at houndsinpounds.com.

If you are checking on the status of your application-if you are selected to continue to the interview process, our Application Team will be in contact with you via email.  Please be sure to check your SPAM box. We do our best to respond to every single application but if you do not hear from us within 2 weeks of applying, please note your application is not being considered.

If you are checking to see if a dog is available-please note that we keep our website and Petfinder updated – if the dog is listed, they are available.

Your application can be accepted for ONE DOG PER HOUSEHOLD at a time. If you submit:
-multiple applications per household for dogs available at the same time
-multiple applications per dog
all of your applications will be discarded.
